Codman Square Health Center Celebrates Ribbon Cutting of New Randolph Clinic

Randolph, MA — December 8, 2025 — Codman Square Health Center, in partnership with the Town of Randolph and Randolph Public Schools, celebrated the official ribbon cutting of its new Randolph Clinic on Monday, Dec. 8, marking a historic milestone in expanding local access to high-quality, community-centered health care.

Local and state officials joined community members and Codman leadership to celebrate the opening of the clinic, which will provide primary care, behavioral health services, pediatric care, and community wellness support to Randolph residents—many of whom have long faced barriers to accessing care close to home.

U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley, who secured a $1 million federal grant that helped make the clinic possible, energized the crowd with a message of pride and empowerment. “Randolph! Look at you, always leading! This center is for you!” she said, celebrating the town’s advocacy and resilience.

Massachusetts Department of Public Health Commissioner Robbie Goldstein, MD, MPH, emphasized Codman’s deep roots in community-driven care. “Codman has a long history of community care. That history is what makes this event even more profound,” he said.

Codman’s relationship with Randolph is well established. Since January 2023, the health center has operated behavioral health services, community health worker services, vaccine clinics, and other vital health supports at Randolph High School, helping students and families access the care and guidance they need close to home.

Superintendent of Randolph Public Schools Dr. Thea Stovell spoke about the meaningful impact Codman has already had in the community, particularly through its school-based partnerships. “Codman’s commitment has supported us in such meaningful ways. You have helped families get the care that they need,” she said.

Randolph Town Manager Brian Howard reflected on how the COVID-19 pandemic exposed the town’s need for accessible health services. Prior to the partnership with Codman, there were no local testing or vaccination sites within Randolph’s borders—despite the town being the third hardest-hit community in the state.

“The pandemic was the match that lit the fire. We were the third hardest hit community in the state, but we had no medical partner within our borders. We partnered with Codman to help us meet people where they are. We saw people coming to the vaccine clinics and looking for more medical advice. This is truly a historic day for the Town of Randolph,” Howard said.

Codman Square Health Center CEO and leadership expressed deep gratitude for the partnership that made the Randolph Clinic possible and emphasized the organization’s commitment to providing compassionate, accessible care that reflects the needs of Randolph residents.

The new Randolph Clinic is open to patients of all ages and serves as a welcoming hub for preventive care, chronic disease management, behavioral health, and integrated services designed to support the whole community.
