Biography:
Tamika Wisdom was born and raised in the Dorchester/Roxbury community. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UMass Boston and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Simmons College. She went on to earn her Master’s in Nursing from Regis College. While Tamika has an impressive educational background, she consistently keeps her work rooted in the Dorchester/Roxbury community.
Tamika has shared a deep knowledge of community resources and a strong ability to coordinate services in various roles she has held.
She completed Faulkner Hospital’s medical-surgical RN Residency program in 2018, and has subsequently taken on leadership roles including charge nurse, preceptor, and mentor. Tamika brings her community-minded and patient-centered perspective to her work as a nurse, helping patients with psychosocial conditions, and prioritizing a safe and therapeutic environment.
Tamika is excited to join the Codman Square Health Center provider team as a Nurse Practitioner Resident, knowing it will synthesize her strong academic background and passion for community. She has many clinical interests, and as such is a true Family Medicine provider.
Outside of work, Tamika enjoys spending time with her family, friends, traveling, singing gospel, dancing, and many outdoor activities.

This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under Section 330 (k)(3)(g), 42 USC 254b and a deemed Public Health Service employer under 42 USC 233 (g)-(n). No one will be denied access to services at CSHC due to inability to pay; there is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income.
