Updated COVID-19 Guidelines

The federal COVID-19 public health emergency expired on May 11. Codman Square Health Center will continue to provide exceptional care to all of our patients, but you will see some changes across our campus, beginning May 12, since this public health emergency determined how we cared for patients during the pandemic.

We’d like to provide you with information about what this means for you, and we will continue to update you as guidelines change.

Wearing Masks

Codman no longer requires masks for everyone in administrative areas or most clinical settings.

Patients, visitors, and staff may still wear masks if they prefer. You can get a mask in our main lobby and at all registration desks.

In addition, if you are COVID-positive, you (and any visitors) need to wear a mask, and Codman staff will wear N95 masks during your care.

If you have a cough or other symptoms of an upper respiratory infection, we ask you to wear a mask.

Vaccination

Vaccines are still the best way to protect yourself against COVID-19. If you need to be vaccinated with your first, second, third, or booster doses, please call our scheduling number at 617-822-8271 to get an appointment for a vaccine, or fill out our appointment request. You can also get a vaccine at many local pharmacies.

Many insurance companies will continue to cover the cost of COVID-19 vaccines. Please call your insurance company if you’re not sure about the cost.
