Our dental services include general dentistry, oral hygiene, oral surgery, periodontist, prostodonist and endodontist. We strive to deliver high quality, compassionate, timely and cost-effective dental care to all patients. The dental program also sponsors public health advocacy and community education by setting up health fairs in local schools to proactively avert dental difficulty, through appropriate preventative oral care practices.

In addition, several member of our department have faculty positions at Boston University and Tufts dental schools. The department provides on-site training to Boston University and Tufts students in dentistry and oral hygiene over the course of 5 to 10 week externships.

Codman Square Dental Service is also privileged to work with Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Resident Dentists. Through the AEGD programs we can deliver the highest quality of comprehensive dental care to the broadest range of the population with a knowledge, comfort and ease in treating the high-risk patient and under-served segment of the population including: HIV/AIDS, medically compromised, physically handicapped and geriatric populations. The Resident Dentists also have considerable experience in implantology and full mouth rehabilitation.

The Dental Service is committed to providing the highest level of service to community. In order to insure this level of service, we have outfitted seven dental operatories with state-of-the-art DENTRIX® Dental Systems. This enables our dental staff to create a virtual chart of a patient’s oral health and a median by which we can tangibly provide evidence for recommended procedures and preventative care. Specifically through the implementation of A/T ScanX digital imaging system using DENTRIX, we are able to expertly capture, manipulate and store crisp, clean bitewings, pans or cephs which are then directly attached to the patient’s electronic chart.
