Behavioral Health
The Behavioral Health Department provides psychiatric, counseling and substance abuse services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. A strong component of our services is group work, a modality offered to our clients being treated for opiate addiction. Some of our clinicians are trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). The Behavioral Health Department also offers case management and other social services, i.e., Domestic Violence Advocacy, information about mental health issues and referrals to our clients.
Our psychiatrists consult with the clinic’s Primary Care Physicians, and our licensed clinicians provide counseling in several local schools, in addition to on-site counseling. The department is a training site for several local graduate schools of Social Work. The Behavioral Health Department is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to provide substance abuse treatment services.
